Checking your terminal will alert you to the presence of unusual, unique weapons called Science Weapons and give you a quest called Weapons From the Void. These weapons have unique properties and effects rather than functioning like regular weapons in the game.

There are five total Science Weapons:

• Shrink Ray – located in Phineas’s lab
• Prismatic Hammer – hidden on the Groundbreaker and hidden rather well
• Mandibular Rearranger – located on Scylla
• Gloop Gun – securely locked up in the abandoned mining outpost on Monarch with either a skill check or a key needed to access it
• Mind Control Ray – located in Rizzo’s Secret Lab in Monarch and one of the most involved to reach
