Hello World

Easter Eggs

The trophy/achievement “Hello World!” for completing your first online race is a play on both the fact that you’re playing online (and therefore interacting with players in the world) and the simple program that prints “Hello, world!” that is typically one of the first programs of people learning to code.

Earning Tokens

Hints

To earn tokens, you’ll need to complete your daily objectives. This will allow you to get 6 tokens per day and slowly build up your supply. You can also purchase a token for 20,000 credits. To earn more credits, you’ll want to consistently win races. The booster back can also help. Finally, once you’re approaching the end of the game or have settled in on the bikes you plan to use, you can sell old bikes for credits, allowing you to purchase more tokens.

Basic Tips

Hints

Sitting up while braking helps you slow down for a quicker stop.

Before doing a career race, practice on the track you’ll be racing on so you’re familiar with it ahead of the actual race.

Use these practice laps to help you figure out how to adjust your bike, as well. You’ll want to work on your suspension, handlebar, etc. to make sure the bike handles well for the track you’ll be on.

You’ll often need to brake while going around turns to avoid crashing, usually with both brakes. However, you’ll be able to make some turns just by releasing the gas and leaning, so be sure to practice to know which turns you can handle this way.

A race’s Performance Points limit determines which bikes can be used in a race. Make sure to check your bike’s PP against the race’s to make sure you’re in line with your opponents.

Pro Physics Tips

Hints

The physics option in the settings determines how realistically your bike will handle. At the Pro setting, it will react like a real bike. The pro setting also turns off options such as auto brakes and joint brakes, in keeping with the realism. While this makes it much less forgiving than the other physics settings, it also makes it easy to build up speed and win races if you know what you’re doing.

Use the video guide below to help you master the pro physics setting.
