Guides

Smoke

Basic Skill: Drain Smoke - By pressing the touch pad, you can drain smoke from any Smoke source, such as chimneys and cars. You can upgrade this to drain more smoke.

Upgrades:

Quick Drain - You can drain smoke twice as fast.
Basic Skill: Smoke Dash - When you press the circle button, you will become turn into smoke, which allows you to cross through permeable barriers and move quickly to ambush or escape enemies.

Upgrades:

Double Air Dash - You can dash twice without landing in between.
Car Boost - You can use a car's exhaust fumes to give you an extra boost if you jump while on top of a car.
Vent Dash - If you Smoke Dash into a red vent, you will go straight up to the roof.
Vent Healing (requires Good Karma) - If you Smoke Dash into a red vent, you will regain some health.
Enhanced Vent Launch (requires Evil Karma) - If you Smoke Dash into a red vent to launch yourself into the air, you will go higher.
Basic Skill: Smoke Shot - If you press R2, you will fire a blast of smoke that can hit enemies at medium range.

Upgrades:

Cinder Blast - You can charge up a Smoke Shot to do more damage, although it also depletes your Smoke Energy faster.
Obliterating Blast (requires Evil Karma) - Cinder Blast will cause instant death for some enemies in its path.
Sulfur Headshots (requires Good Karma) - Precise Smoke Shots make enemies cough, incapacitating them.
Knockout Headshots (requires Good Karma) - Precise Smoke Shots immediately subdue enemies.
Sustained Fire (requires Evil Karma) - This gives you a rapid-fire burst of Smoke Shots.
Basic Skill: Cinder Missile - If you press R1, you will fire a powerful Heavy Ammo missile.
Basic Skill: Sulfur Bomb - If you press L1, you will throw a bomb that will stun enemies without killing them.

Upgrades:

Corrosive Fumes (requires Good Karma) - The effects of Sulfur Bomb will last longer.
Giant Sulfur Bomb (requires Good Karma) - The range of Sulfur Bomb is increased.
Karma Bomb: Orbital Drop - When your Karma Streak is full, you can press down on the D-pad to leap into the air and land with a powerful explosion. If you have Good Karma, enemies caught in the blast will be subdued. If you have Evil Karma, they will be killed.

Melee

Basic Skill: Dash Strike - First, dash toward an enemy, and then hit the melee button to deliver a quick attack with the advantage of surprise.

Upgrades:

Dash Subdue (Requires Good Karma) - If an enemy is surrendering or vulnerable, you can dash toward them and immediately subdue them.
Dash Slam (Requires Evil Karma) - This makes Dash Strike a lethal attack.
Basic Skill: Karmic Healing - When you subdue an enemy, you will regain a little health.
Basic Skill: Comet Drop - While you are in the air, hit the square button to hit the ground and produce a damaging shockwave.

Upgrades:

Obliterating Drop (Requires Evil Karma) - You can use Comet Drop to instantly destroy an enemy.
Basic Skill: Execute (Requires Evil Karma) - Instead of subduing a surrendering or vulnerable enemy, you can kill them.

Upgrades:

Energy Drain (Requires Evil Karma) - When you execute an enemy, you will regain some energy.

Neon

Basic Skill: Drain Neon - By pressing the touch pad, you can drain neon from any Neon source, such as lights and signs. You can upgrade this to drain more neon.

Upgrades:

Quick Drain - You can drain neon twice as fast.
Basic Skill: Light Speed - Press and hold the circle button to become a fast streak of neon light, which also allows you to run up walls and over other barriers.

Upgrades:

Photon Jump - If you press the X button while using Light Speed and on the ground, you will perform a high jump.
Endless Speed (Requires Good Karma) - With this, you can use Light Speed without any breaks.
Basic Skill: Neon Beam - If you press R2, you will fire a neon attack effective at long range.

Upgrades:

Rapid Refire (Requires Evil Karma) - You can fire Neon Beams at an increased speed.
Basic Skill: Phosphor Beam - If you hold R1, you can charge up a powerful Heavy Ammo attack.
Basic Skill: Stasis Bubble - If you press L1, you will launch a stasis field that will trap enemies, allowing you to either earn Good Karma or Evil Karma.

Upgrades:

Enhanced Stasis (Requires Good Karma) - If you attack an enemy in a Stasis Bubble, they will be subdued.
Extended Bubble (Requires Good Karma) - Stasis Bubbles will last longer.
Deadly Stasis (Requires Evil Karma) - If you kill an enemy in a Stasis Bubble, they will be obliterated.
Basic Skill: Laser Insight - Zoom in on enemies to see parts of them marked in blue or red. Shooting blue areas will subdue them, while shooting red areas will execute them.

Upgrades:

Laser Focus - Time will pass more slowly when you are zoomed in.

Upgrades:

Extended Focus - Time will pass even more slowly when you are zoomed in.
Speed Loader - When you use Light Speed, your Laser Focus power will be recharged.
Karma Bomb: Radiant Streak - When your Karma Streak is full, you can press down on the D-pad to launch nearby enemies into the air for an attack of neon power.

Video

Basic Skill: Drain Video - By pressing the touch pad, you can drain video power from any Video source, such as TV and computer screens. You can upgrade this to drain more video power.

Upgrades:

Quick Drain - You can drain video power twice as fast.
Basic Skill: Shroud of Invisibility - If you press L1, you will transform into almost invisible pixels, leaving behind a decoy to fool enemies.

Upgrades:

Extended Invisibility (requires Good Karma) - The Shroud of Invisibility will last longer.
Enhanced Invisibility (requires Good Karma) - While invisible, you can subdue a single enemy without losing your invisibility.
Summon Wingman - You won't leave behind a decoy, but instead you will summon an Angel to help you fight enemies.

Upgrades:

Demon Twins (requires Evil Karma) - Summon two demons to fight enemies.
Unholy Trinity (requires Evil Karma) - Summons three powerful demons to fight enemies.
Basic Skill: Video Surge - If you hold the circle button, you will be able to fly over barriers and up walls. If you fly into a satellite dish, you will turn into a transmission and be sent high into the air.

Upgrades:

Signal Boost - While using Video Surge, you can touch the ground and press the X button for a high jump.
Double Air Surge - You can dash twice without landing in between.
Airwave - While using Video Surge in the air, hold down the X button to glide and increase your speed.
Hovering Fire - When you zoom in, you will hover.
Basic Skill: Video Torrent - Hold R2 to fire a ranged attack.

Upgrades:

Extended Torrent (Requires Evil Karma) - Your Video Torrent attack will last longer.
Narrow Band (Requires Evil Karma) - Both the accuracy and range of Video Torrent will be increased.
Basic Skill: Bloodthirsty Blades - Target an enemy with R1 to fire a Heavy Ammo attack of three blades.

Upgrades:

Blade Flurry - Bloodthirsty Blades will use four blades.
Blade Storm - Bloodthirsty Blades will use five blades.
Karma Bomb: Hellfire Swarm - When your Karma Streak is full, you can press down on the D-pad to call a horde of angels to help.

Concrete

Basic Skill: Drain Concrete - By pressing the touch pad, you can drain concrete power from defeated enemies. You can upgrade this to drain more concrete power.
Basic Skill: Boulder Dash - Press the circle button to dash across the ground in concrete armor.

Upgrades:

Extended Dash - You can cross further distances using Boulder Dash.
Endless Dash - You can hold the circle button to continuously use Boulder Dash.
Basic Skill: Concrete Thrusters - Press L1 to jump high into the air and hold it in the air to shoot straight up.

Upgrades:

Double Lift - Press L1 a second time for a second boost.
Triple Lift - Press L1 a third time for a third boost.
Basic Skill: Strength of Stone - When you are using Concrete powers, the damage you take will be reduced by 10%.

Upgrades:

Strength of Granite - When you are using Concrete powers, the damage you take will be reduced by 20%.
Basic Skill: Concrete Shrapnel - If you press R2, you will fire an attack effective at medium range.

Upgrades:

Extended Shrapnel - Your Concrete Shrapnel attack will last longer.
Basic Skill: Concrete Barrage - If you press R1, you will fire a Heavy Ammo attack that launches slabs of concrete.
