Mastering Fielding

Przewodniki

Fielding is the most crucial aspect of defense. It's how you prevent runs and is the part of the game with which people have the fewest issues because it works well.

Mastering the Art of Defense

One advantage is that you start pitching, so you can immediately showcase your defense. Now, let's talk about the basics of fielding. There's the first baseman, second baseman, shortstop, third baseman, right field, center field, and left field.

When the ball is hit, it goes into slow motion for a split second, placing you near the player who will receive it. It's up to you to field it. For pop flies, catch them; for ground balls, field them and throw to the first baseman, or, as necessary, follow the rules of baseball.

Chase, Catch, and Throw with Precision

You must run over and catch the ball when it's going to the right field. Use stick locomotion, where you utilize both sticks to run. Press the side grips for running.

If you struggle with throwing to the first baseman, such as throwing it too high or missing altogether, check your throwing assist settings. Setting it high can make it easier to throw accurately.

Catching Skills and Impressive Plays

As you improve your fielding skills, you can make impressive plays. You can jump to catch the ball before it hits the fence. However, We recommend only attempting that if you have high ceilings.

If the ball goes to the second baseman, you move back, wait for it, and catch it. Then throw it back to the pitcher. If fielding is your favorite part of the game, you can execute double plays, such as throwing a ground ball to the third baseman, second base, and first base.

Exciting Plays at the Wall and Accurate Throws

Plays at the wall, where you must jump to catch the ball, are also exciting. These plays can be challenging, but they are incredibly fun to execute.

With the cannon, you can throw to the first baseman with a powerful throw. However, making accurate throws without the cannon might be more satisfying.
