Can you go to Asgard in God of War Ragnarok?

God of War Ragnarök is the last of the Norse Mythology series.

Unfortunately, the Norse series would leave much to be desired should Kratos not enter into Asgard.

God of War (2018) created a desirable expectation and left players wanting more, as they were given a taste of the nine realms. Players could enter into several of the nine realms, including Alfheim, Helheim, and Jötunheim

Entry into Asgard was seemingly sealed by Odin, and Kratos could not enter the Norse kingdom. However, much was left for the sequel, should Kratos and Atreus be able to enter the Bifrost and cross the Rainbow bridge.

Atreus Could Be The Key To Asgard

Atreus could be the key to Asgard

As we all know, Asgard is heavily fortified, and entry into Asgard is only through the Bifrost. However, there may be some hidden entry points into Asgard, unknown to Odin and the Aesir, this is where Atreus could be the key for Kratos to enter Asgard.

God of War Ragnarok’s epic trailer shows a much older Atreus, and the Ragnarok’s clip, where he is seen touching a tree gives us the impression that his magical powers have started to develop.

Atreus is the son of Laufey and Kratos; his real identity is Loki, the magician. This trickster is, according to legend, a part of the Aesir and has the ability to change his appearance, amongst other things.

Asgard is sealed from the outside world and only the Aesir are able to enter. However, Loki is full of tricks, and he may be the key for Kratos to enter the fortified Asgard.

God of War Ragnarök Jötnar Edition

If you’re wondering whether Kratos will ever make it into Asgard the creators of God of War released a collector’s special edition for fans. God of War Ragnarök Jötnar edition has given the God of War universe a glimpse into where Kratos will possibly be going.

In the previous God of War (2018), the first of the Norse mythology series, there was mention of Nine realms. However, Kratos was limited to Alfheim, Helheim, Jotunheim, Muspelheim, Niflheim, and his home, Midgard.

They were three of the remaining nine realms, Vanaheim, Svartalfheim, and Asgard, remained locked. However, a unique cloth map contained in the collector’s edition has confirmed suspicions that the remaining three realms will be open for Kratos to cause destruction.

The Yggdrasil cloth map that forms part of the God of War Ragnarok Jotnar edition has caused a wave of excitement. The map gives tips for each of the nine realms, and the Bifrost is shown at the top of the map as a gateway into Asgard.

Could this map be the final key that Kratos needs to enter Asgard and prevent the Ragnarok apocalypse from destroying all nine realms?

All Roads Lead To Asgard

It’s unclear whether Kratos will ever enter the home of tIt’sesir, but you can never count out the God of War to find a way. All roads lead to Asgard as Kratos and Atreus prepare to take on the formidable Thor and Aesir.
