How to Defeat Kongol for The Legend of Dragoon on PlayStation 5 (PS5)

Kongol is a boss fight in Legend of Dragoon, you will encounter this dragoon when you enter the Black Castle right before you fight the Emperor Doel. Kongol has some new and exciting attack moves and is equipped with Giganto armor.

Before you fight Kongol, you’ll have an opportunity to prepare for the fight. Choose characters that inflict the most damage with additions and have the least amount of combinations, Kongol can counter-attack characters with combinations.

Kongol’s attack moves are his devastating “Claw Attack”, where he picks one character from your party and uses his sharp claw to slash them. He also has a “ Wall Crash” attack, where a wall appears behind one of your heroes and he holds them against the wall with his claw.

After pinning your hero to the wall, he wails on them and punches your hero through the wall. In defense, he uses a “Magic Barrier” to repel any magic attack. Should a player miss an attack during an addition, Kongol will counter their addition and toss the character back.

In order to beat this boss, you must keep attacking him and healing your heroes. If you cast offensive Dragoon magic onto Kongol, he will summon his magic barrier. Once the barrier has been used, you won’t be able to use any magic attacks on him and will have to defeat him using “D-attacks” or a “Volcano” attack.
