Sypro, the Dragon, and the fake crash balloons

Ostereier

Sypro the Dragon and Crash Bandicoot began as Playstation exclusives, and there was some overlapping in the developers like the Toys for Bob. They have both made small cameos in each other's games over the years and even crossed over.

In the game, Spyro again crosses over and can be seen as a balloon floating in the air during the parade. However, the balloon could have been missed by players because of another past character's appearance, Fake Crash/Trash Bandicoot. Crash's doppelganger played a largely neutral part in a number of earlier games. The game features him a few times, but this cameo wasn't particularly noteworthy.

The Portrait of Tiny Tiger

Ostereier

The mutant tiger known as Tiny Tiger is one of Dr. Cortex's creations, and he is the opposite of tiny. He is seen as one of the most loyal and strongest minions, although he may not be the brightest. He appeared in Cortex Strikes Back as the third boss, and he continued to make appearances in 10 other games.

Tiny Tiger did not appear as a Character in It's About Time, but he can be seen in a cameo in the Cortex's Castle. You can see him in a big portrait hanging on the wall in his gladiator attire from Warped. It is suggested that Dr. Cortex framed the Tiger's picture because his boss battle was regarded as one of the best in the series.

Misterbo covers Easter egg references to other characters in the franchise who fans know and love.

Earn as many gems as possible

Hinweise

In each level, you have the potential to earn a maximum of six gems upon completion. One for grabbing the hidden gem, one for finding all the crates, one for dying no more than three times, and three for the amount of Wumpa fruit you have collected.

You can easily grab five of the six gems in the level even if you aren't able to find the hidden gems. We suggest that you proceed with caution and carefully plan every jump and spin.

Watch out for the hidden boxes

Hinweise

You will find that there are a number of well-hidden boxes and crates. There are some that are so well hidden that you may never find them by yourself. We suggest that you search everywhere behind items, off to the sides of things, and bounce as high as you can on the bouncy boxes, but this may result in your death.

If the level features Nitro boxes, you will need to destroy these boxes. It is the green exclamation box at the very end that destroys all of them when you spin it.

How to Unlock Coco Bandicoot

Freischaltbar

Coco is the second most important character to the protagonist in the Crash Bandicoot franchise, making her first appearance in Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back as Crash's highly intelligent and spirited younger sister, but her first appearance as a playable character was in Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped, and she has appeared in every Crash game since then.

Coco often comes to Crash's aid by building him gadgets that are ideal for the situation, and on occasion, she will tag along with him on the journey. Just like her older brother, Coco was genetically engineered through the use of Doctor Cortex's and Doctor Brio's Evolvo-Ray. Although Coco uses self-taught martial arts to defend herself, Crash and Coco have identical movesets, i.e., the spinning and sliding, and in It's About Time, they now also have wall running.

In It's About Time, Coco is an additional playable character. In order to unlock Coco, you will need to complete the first two stages of the game. You will then be able to switch to her character on the dimensional map at any stage. The Crash and Coco characters play identically but have their own unique skins that can be unlocked by collecting gems.

How to beat Dr. Cortex

Leitfäden

You will encounter Doctor Cortex, who is the final boss in the game when you reach 'The Past Unmasked' level. Doctor Cortex is a mad scientist who wants to rule the world because of the ridicule he suffered in his past.

In the battle, Doctor Cortex will take away the four masks you have and use them for himself. To defeat him, the fight can be broken down into four stages:

Stage 1

When the battle begins, you will need to bounce three times on each of the Shoot-O-Matics in order to destroy them. At the same time, you will be facing falling platforms and a big yellow ring attacking you.

Stage 2

Doctor Cortex will start using Lani-Loli, so you will need to jump over the phasing platforms to destroy the Shoot-O-Matics, then spin the assistant again. Doctor Cortex will turn to his Annihilaser. To avoid getting hit, you will need to duck under the beam. Next, you will face the Ika-Ika, but you will need to dodge the lasers while upside-down and again jump on the Shoot-O-Matics to destroy and spin the assistant.

Stage 3

Doctor Cortex will use the Kapuna-Wa. The platforms will start disappearing, so begin sprinting to stay on the platforms that aren't disappearing. Time will begin to slow down, so you will need to focus on bouncing on the Shoot-O-Matic that is on the furthest left side when it appears jump into the bottom-left corner. Then stay there until the cycle comes back around, then begin to run to the top-right turret and jump on it. Then jump over the assistant and spin him.

Stage 4

Lastly, Doctor Cortex will use the final mask, Ákano. You will need to dodge the lasers and jump on all four of the Shoot-O-Matics. Remember that the fewer turrets there are, the fewer ground-based energy attacks you will have to face. Once you have destroyed the final Shoot-O-Matic, you will then need to defeat the four assistants while avoiding the lasers. Once you have defeated the final assistant, you will have completed It's About Time.
