Using the Konami Code

The Konami Code works in all versions of the collection, but the actual button inputs at the end will vary based on which system you have.

  • PS4: Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, Triangle, Square, Options
  • Xbox: Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, A, B, Start
  • Switch: Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, X, Y, +
  • PC: Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, B, A (for keyboard; if you’re using a controller, follow the instructions for the corresponding version above)

Note that these will be slightly different depending on which version of the game you’re entering it for. Some use the shoulder buttons.

If you are entering a cheat code, you will need to end it quickly on the title screen for that game, while the game’s title is displayed.

The Japanese versions of the games have additional cheat codes that can be used, while other versions have only a couple that work.

The  code  you  listed  for  Switch  doesn't  work  for  me.  What  am  I  doing  wrong?

Its....    up  up  down  down  left  right  left  right  A  B  A  B  (theyre  missing  an  A  B.  So  at  that  point  do  A,B,A,B  then  select  start(two  player)  or  just  start.

The  code  doesnt  work.  I  just  like  mlre  continues  to  play  further.  Love  this  game  however  ive  never  seen  past  the  end  of  stage  4.  The  up  up  down  down  left  rigbt  left  right  x  y  +  doesnt  work.  Contra  for  switch.  Also  would  like  to  use  this  for  2  player

All  i  would  like  is  infinite  continues.  Still  makes  the  game  fun  and  not  basically  a  walk  thru.  I  enjoy  the  game.  However  ive  never  seen  past  the  boss  kn  the  fourth  stage.  Frustrating
