Composer Yuka Kitamura Confirms Elden Ring Involvement

Last Updated: March 26, 2020

Very little is known about Elden Ring, the upcoming collaboration between FromSoftware and fantasy writer George R. R. Martin.

However, composer Yuka Kitamura recently confirmed that she will be working on the soundtrack for Elden Ring. Kitamura has worked on many past FromSoftware games, being the major composer for Dark Souls III and Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice.

She also was one of the composers to work on Dark Souls II, where she composed “The Pursuer,” “The Old Dragonslayer,” “Ruin Sentinels,” “Velstadt, the Royal Aegis,” and “Executioner’s Chariot,” as well as Bloodborne, where she composed “Ebrietas, Daughter of the Cosmos,” “Rom the Vacuous Spider,” “Watchers,” and “Maria of the Astral Clocktower.”

Since Kitamura’s response only confirms that she will be working on the game, at this point its unknown if other composers will contribute to Elden Ring’s soundtrack or not.
