Battlefield Hardline is Leaked, Then Revealed

Battlefield Hardline

Following several rumors and leaks that pointed toward the existence of an upcoming Battlefield game with a “cops and robbers” theme, EA officially announced the game yesterday. Battlefield Hardline will come out sometime this fall, and more details will be revealed at E3.

The game’s website was also unveiled, although so far it contains very little information.

Leaked videos have been uploaded, removed, and re-uploaded over the past couple of days, but EA says the footage is from 6 months ago and out of date. What we know so far is that there will be both single player and multiplayer, the two opposing sides are thieves and SWAT members, and it seems to have four classes called Enforcer, Mechanic, Operator and Professional.

Official details will be given to us at E3… or earlier, if we show Visceral Games that we’re interested.

We expect Battlefield Hardline to come out on the PC, PS4, and Xbox One. Its presence on the PS3 and Xbox 360 is still uncertain.
